Besty Ross was born on January 1,1752 .The first American Flag was sewed by Betsy Ross. when we see the flag we think of freedom, pride, and liberty. Betsy has become well known in America.Besty Ross was a quaker she had left that society to go marry John Ross .Together they had set up an upholstery business .Her husband had died in explosion ammunition in January 1776 . Later that year she got the idea of making the american flag when she met George Washington ,George Ross and Robert Morris. She had died at the age of 84 on January 30, 1836.
